What does the village Idol cd mean?

If I build a idol in public, can anyone active it and become village LS?

I don't really understand your question. If you mean if anyone can become a chieftain of your village, no. That person first has to be added to the village (the ls, i assume you has to do that) and the ls also has to make the person a chieftain... Could have understood your question wrong.

Sorry, I used a wrong word x), I meant LS instead of chieftain.

Ill ask the Question in a slight other way:

It takes 24 hours before the village idol can be activated, but does it require a special action to active it, or will it activate itself?

If activated by a person, who becomes LS of the village? The one activating or the one who finished the building?

As far as I know anyone who has the lawspeaking skill and 30k LP can activate a village idol, regardless of who built it.

But that won't matter, right? I mean, who is gonna build a village without even having palisades/brickwalls. Or if you want to build one to take over a mine or something just palisade it...

After a recent update, it now takes 24 hours before a newly constructed idol can be activated to become a village. In this time there is no lawspeaker and no village claim. Once the 24 hours are up, someone with Lawspeaking and (optional) up to ~4 other people can donate LP to help raise the village. In total 30 K LP is needed, and the LP Taken is taken from the founders evenly. Ex: Two people with 15K Each can raise a village, but one person with 1K and another with 29K Cannot. The other people other than the one with lawspeaking need yeomanry. The person who was first on the founder list when activating the idol, is the lawspeaker. If anyone activates the idol before you do, it is their village. It dosen't matter who constructs the idol.

Pretty sure you can also bash down idols before they're active.
