Character deleted?

I started playing last nigth for the first time, I spent a few hours and logged off. I logged back in and my character is gone, it only says "New Character."

I doubt he had the skills to leave summonable scents if he only has been playing for a day.

it could be that new character was online for a day,

it could of been there was a small roll back with the latest patch (I don't think there was), or some one did kill him while he was offline/

No, I made an account months ago but never got around to playing it, it was only now that I just started. Thanks for the help.

There was some data corruption on older accounts when they switched to a new server. Your best bet is to pm loftar to have a look at it.

if you go back to where you died, is there corpse?

also where you in a bed that was destroyed or in a house that was destroyed

Go to the new character creation place, if there is a runestone there with your character on it, he died.

I forgot where I died, and no I was not in a bed. Apparantly there's supposed to be a stone or something in the respawn but I saw no such thing.
