Foraging?

I know I'm going to regret asking this and /facepalm at how obvious the answer is going to be but. . how do I forage? I have the foraging skill but I don't see any button or option to forage.

you have to find an herb and then interact with it.

Those are the forage able resources. You can see spindly taproot, stinging nettle, and blueberries at the start. Raise your EXP/PERC! You will be tripping over them when you raise them.

What sort of relationship exists between the ability to see foragables and your exploration*perception total?

Like.. in the wiki there's always mention of a lower bound, base level, and upper bound. Eg: you start seeing Rustroot at 500, and see all of them at 2000. Base level 1000. My question is, what sort of shape would the distribution curve look like? Straight line? Some curve?

What is it at, and what areas are you searching through? The best edible forage are Blueberries and Chantrelles, which are pretty common and should be viewable about 30-50 per*exp. These are common in forests, and blueberries also grow fairly often on heath as well (the pink-purplish grassland).

You can also eat Spindly Taproot if you're starving; also raid anthills, everything from anthills is edible (although empresses, queens, and soldiers are better to study than eat).
