Unarmed Vs. Melee

Postby Reimad » Sun Jan 02, 2011 6:26 pm

So I think it's worth going for a mix of the 2, no? Melee has the advantage of being able to hit incredibly hard and have a strong block..Together with the fabulous thanes this makes it pretty strong.

Unarmed however has some very, very good bonuses. The incredible fast rate at which IP is gained for example and I feel that these 2 are best combined with each other.

What would be the best ratio for it? 1 ua for every 2 melee? 2 ua for every melee?

Oh, and slightly related and not worth opening an entirely new thread for. What is as of now the (estimated) max. hit of the best ranger's bow in game?

2MC to 1 UA if you want to use sword (could do 1 to 1) and 1 to 1 for b12.

Max hit is probably like 1.6k damage I believe.

This part interested me, why is this?

I am not questioning it of course, only asking why :)

Because with a b-ax you can't use teh shield manouver, meaning your melee no longer affects your defence unless you do some rapid switches between weapons which seems kinda dangerous
