can not make leather (newbie)

Hello! I ave been playing this game for about 3 days, looked through a lot of forums and wiki, but i had not find an answer on my question.
I did few tunning tabs, filled it with water and bark, placed there a rabbit fur. Then i replaced tunning tabs to my house.
Wiki says it tooks 8 hours to make leather, but i have been waiting for about 24 (real) hours, and all i can see 92%-95%. It is not going higher!
How can i finish leather?

appearantly theres some sort of bug that makes the leather need a player nearby. I dont think it needs to be that minimap, but inside a house (or cellar possibly) they dont work, if i remember correctly

and one more question: why do leather armor and leather pants decrease agility? i have not found this on wiki

It's a new change the devs recently made over the winter holidays. It kinda makes sense though. Armor decreases mobility.
