Cutting Trees

Well, I'm a COMPLETE newbie when it comes to this game, so after creating my little campsite, and having made myself a stone axe, I realized something very problematic.. I don't know how to cut down trees! I've tried everything, but I honestly have no idea how to cut down a tree. I have the axe equipped and everything, but no clue. Could I get some help?

You need to buy the skill "lumberjacking". Once you have it, right click the tree and the option to chop will show up.

Once you get 200 LP, Click on the face on the bottom of your screen, then click the 2nd from left button on the bottom. On the avalible skills section, and scroll through, til you find the skill called, "Lumberjacking." The list is in Alphabetical order. Click on lumberjacking and click buy. Right click a tree with your axe equiped and click chop.
