Trading and transporting goods

Postby Brandermau » Wed Jan 05, 2011 7:44 am

I have recently been entertaining the idea of starting to trade, however I am unclear as to how it works in this game. I have been looking on the forums as to how this is done and I know there are locations designated for this. I was just curious how people transport bulk goods for trading. Are there any easy solutions to this or certain methods? Any advice that could be given on this and I suppose trading in general would be appreciated.

Trading is usually done in the forums, the apples and oranges area is designated for that. Sodom's a good partner, and all you have to do is visit their town. It's pretty easy, but can be kind of inconvenient.

Trading is *always* done ingame, the trade is however often setup on the forums :)

Bulk goods are easily transported through the use of Large Chests (the biggest carriable container) and a boat which you put the two chests inside, lift, and then teleport using Crossroads setup between villages.

If one needs transport several hundreds of items, you just teleport back and forth, loading and unloading the boat. Or you can bring a friend or two to get it done faster.

Both wooden chests and Large Chests require metal though, metal can easily be gotten by trading it with nearby villages buying forageables/linen/bricks.
