Tool quality?

Does shovel, scythe and pickaxe quality affect anything? What about smithy's hammer?

No, only shearing and butchering, no, quality of smithed items.

from what I have been tool shovels reduce the time it takes to remove stumps

scythe reduces time it takes to farm (quiet considerably)
