Steelmaking

Postby Kearn » Thu Jan 06, 2011 6:21 pm

I've read the wiki, blah blah blah, I know how it works...

My question is if the 56 hours at correct q-temp is ingame hours or real life hours?

Since this thread is already open I had a question... which is the optimal fuel? Sticks, blocks, boards, or coal? I hate wasting wood, I don't know why. =(

Blocks I would say
"If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."

Wow...I was using coal this whole time. I had no idea you could use blocks...

Can you use branches?

Well, since so many questions I can post my own too.

Is there any exact formula for q of steel that comes out? Somehow I get lower q of steel that i thought i would. Example, if I had q105 cruicible and q150 coal, together with q120 wrough, I would get out lets say q105 steel.

Now I know it isn't capped by cruicible because if I put better (spirally higher) wrough inside I get better steel, but still I am not sure what the formula for getting it would be.

Any idea?
