Can't attack

i have tried everything, i gave skill points to unarmed combat, melee combat, hunting, and still whenever i engage an animal (tried with chicken, ants and boar(?)) there is no attack button, there is only a single maneuver which is dodge, can someone help me?

You don't get any attack moves until you learn the skill Unarmed Combat, not to be confused with the incremental skill of the same name. You'll need Will to Power first, in order to unlock it.
