How do I use a ..Crucible?

So, I've built an alloying crucible. I've thrown in four chunks of charcoal for good measure. I hit light, and nothing is happening.

Help?

You use it as you use a fire to bake meat. if you have metalworking - open it in craft menu.

yep, crux use coal. coal isnt intended to smoke a lot; it is simply glowing

Now now, there's no reason to be sarcastic.

The thing DOES glow, but i usually play during daytime.

Also, i NEVER said smoke, i meant that the bright yellow center doesn't show up, AND it remains graphically the same.

I never said i was smarter than the devs, in case you haven't noticed, i've been a member for just under two months now. Java confuses the hell out of me, and i'm only making a point that the crucible didn't glow yellow in the center or change graphically at all when activated.

There was really no reason to end a post with a comment like that.
