Hello everyone, my girlfriend and I have been looking for a game like this for some time and were excited when we first found it. That excitement has died when we realize that a game that looks like this one, has obviously some high system req or something. My girls laptop is trash and right now we cannot afford to buy her a new one.

She have a Dell Insprion 1000, its has some type of onboard graphics card called a SIS m650 and just under 512 ram. The crazy thing is she is able to run games that look graphically far greater than H&H but we don't care about that we wanted a good game. Currently we both use Google chrome as our browser, we both have the newest updates for java, but when she goes to log in, we get the white screen. My comp seems to run it fine, but I can't browse the forums and the same time without notices severe lag in internet speed on my browser.

At this point we have given up, so my question is, are there any other free games out there like H&H, with low system req that we can play, we love the idea of having our own village and all that and the sandbox feel, so anything like that would be great, any suggestion, we most def don't want any of those game that don't have avatars, you know the one where you just build crap.

If you can't run HnH in Windows, your best bet is to try it in Linux. My father's computer can't run it at all in Windows, but it runs just fine in Linux.

Another example of Windows fail and Community based Linux win.

Linux is awesome.

Ps. I have xp.

Linux is still win.
