Q. About the updated world 4 animal AI

I am noticing a few people mentioning how animals are now breaking fences when they could not prior. Can anyone please clarify if these people mean actual fence traps (made from the roundpole fence) or simple fire construction sign traps?

Both. I have seen a round pole fence knocked down and signposts also.

So how exactly are you folks handling runaways? Or do they not charge a hole through your trap when running in fear?

They will make a hole in the trap when CHARGING AT YOU!!!...

Also to note, Bears break Querns now. takes them about 30-50secs to get through a quern. Maybe a little less...

Interesting. I haven't heard of Quern trapping personally. Sounds tedious. So if I am reading correctly: I can still enclose myself and the animal in a space and beat the everliving crap out of it without worry of it fleeing at a seemingly unending stamina educed sprint. (cheating pricks). Though I imagine I could still do the old boat sniping... but that's ALWAYS been a hit or miss given where he runs off to.
