Equipping your militia

Postby Yellowkatt » Tue Jan 18, 2011 8:44 pm

Hello all, first post on this board though I have read through the information quite a few times. My friends and I have been playing H&H for 5 days and have finally formed our first "outpost" I suppose. There are 8 of us and we all have a log cabin and one timber house to meet in,so people tend to see it from the mini map and look around out of curiosity. My question is basically what is the best way to equip them without the use of metal?

Also, as we are built on one large claim not village, can they attack intruders or thiefs that leave behind a scent?

For beginning, I would say have your friends raise their UA, as right now UA > MC I've heard. But if they want, even stone axes are good for doing damage (Base damage 100, unless it changed from w3).

I'm not sure about that one. I believe you'll still leave scents. But generally it helps to, if it's a more serious, summonable, scent, leave a runestone stating why someone was killed/ko'd. So the wandering ranger will know why there's foul scents.
When in doubt, let the rocks fly.

Huh? You don't need a claim to track someone who has left a scent.

Thanks for the replies.

What I mean is, if someone steals something from my claim.. can the rest of my kin that live on that claim attack them?

They will need Rage for that.

And Rangeing. If someone (anyone) steals from a claim (anyones claim), anyone with rangeing can turn on tracking in the Adventure menu and be able to detect, collect and track scents.
Today is a good day to die.
