How Does one move creatures?

Not frogs, rats, chickens, etc, I'm talking cows and sheep.

I tried the search feature, apparently animals and move are too common words.

If it's not possible, I understand, but I'd really like to be able to have some sheep I can shear every now and then.

It's not really possible. Even if you could, they despawn if no player sees them after some time.
