What is the newest and most simpleest client because i cannot seem to get gilbertus to work

There is a great troubleshooting tutorial in that gilbertus thread. Other than that I'm not sure what other ones are still working other than clicking the play button at the top here for the default client.

every time i use the gilbertus it says like connection something
