Carrot Growth Stages

I was wondering about something:

The wiki says i only gather seeds from carrots when its at stage 3, but some people i meet on the game say i can get seeds at stage 4 too. Could anyone clears this mess for me? Wouldn't like to lose my hard earned seeds.

Also, are the 20 hours to grow in-game or rl time?
And how much time each stage takes?

You can get carrot seeds only from stage 3. But you can plant carrots themselves (using them as seeds). 20 IRL hours. Though, to my experience, it's more like 24h IRL cycle with beehive. I suppose those 4 stages would be 0-8-16-24. Or 0-7-14-20?

Some people don't realize that there is a 3rd harvestable stage to carrots.

Stage 1 & 2: Non-harvestable, the only difference between these stages is that they look a litlte bit different
Stage 3: Harvestable for only 1 carrot, regardless of Nature/Industry belief
Stage 4: Harvest for carrot seeds, up to 3 depending on Nature belief
Stage 5: Harvest for carrots, up to 3 depending on Nature belief

so, in this case, it could also be a confusion about the various stages

If you have a bee hive, second stage(first carrots havest time!) is coming at 8 hours(real time). i remember third stage at 12 hours or after.
if you doesn't have a bee hive, more time.
