Issue with website and game

I managed to play for a little bit earlier, and the game hung up. I try to get on here, and the site loads extremely slowly. Can anyone tell me what's up? I wanna get back to having a blast.

The usual. When the server goes down, the site typically goes a bit batshit too. They don't seem to have a system in place to auto-reboot the server (if they do, it sure takes a long time to do it) so you just have to be patient and wait a while for it to come back up.

Interestingly, I was getting some weird errors while trying to log in. "Software caused connection abort: recv failed". Might be nothing, but that "recv failed" bit sounds unusual and a quick Google suggests it might be a code bug, rather than just your typical "oops the server is down and you can't connect" message.

Server can't handle the influx of new players. I couldn't even get on the forum like. Literally. Almost all day it was so bad. Now it's kind of dead(as most of the international player-base is sleeping.)

They might, they're in the U.S. now i think, so it's either remote or auto.
