Chickens and chicks in inventory

Postby ugandalimaganda » Sun Jan 23, 2011 4:46 pm

i currently don't want to build a chicken coop for fear of someone breaking in just to see if i have cocks in the nests (i live by the river, on a grassland) so i was wondering if it would be okay to keep the chickens in my inventory atm until i move somewhere else. do the chickens and chicks die when kept in crates etc? if so can you offer some alternative solutions to keeping my chickens a secret from the outside world?

any suggestions then?

EDIT: what if i just release the whole bunch of them inside my house? what then?

EDIT2: also i placed a food trough inside my house and filled it with some food, they wouldn't starve would they?
