Will taking this plow leave scents?

I am a newb and i was just wondering if i picked up a plow that i "found" and took it back to my little base would that leave a scent or whatever

You will only leave scents if you turn on criminal acts (in the adventure menu). If criminal acts are off there is no way you can leave scents.
