How do I launch for the very first time?

Postby KranDeLoy » Tue Jan 25, 2011 6:16 am

I must be retarded because I can't get the Haven and Hearth stuff to work at all.

I got latest version of Java, when I click the play button the main site if gives me a download, but the download wants me to choose the program to use to launch the it. I googled a bunch and used the wiki and tried to forums and I can not find any info at all on why the f this is happening and what proggy to use.

So I used the Java.exe, no dice. notepad, no dice. I pressed my ass onto my keyboard, no dice.
and my g key smells like poop now.

Edit: Also, I'm running Win7 x64.

Actually a guildie told me that you need to rename the file downloaded after the log in (http://www.havenandhearth.com/portal/autohaven) to autohaven.jnlp

Now it works. I spent a few hours looking for that extremely simple fix and found nothing on it. :x

Thanks for trying, anyway.
