Anyway, there should be a runestone in character creation room, and you should get the option to inherit from your old character when you right click it. If you do this you'll spawn on your claim if you had one (you'll inherit it, of course), and you'll get a part of your skills and stats back. Which part of this isn't working?

Obviously he means the runestone isn't present. C'mon you'd think you'd learn some common sense dealing with non English speaking players on a daily basis.

Ok, assuming you are in the character creation room of the same account as your dead character, you should see a runestone in the starting room when you make a new character. The portrait of your ancestor should appear; all you have to do is press "inherit" to gain his/her lp and attributes depending on the change/tradition slider. Afterwards you step onto the world through the ladder as you would normaly do, only that you will spawn at his hearth fire and take control of his claim if he had one.

And afaik the reincarnation bonus is permanent until you inherit it, I've seen people with multiples stones in the creation room.

He could've meant the stone is there but not working correctly

Anyway, it's odd there's no stone in the room at all. You are logging in on the same account which the old character was on? Can you make a screenshot?
