Iron Mine problem.

Hi guys.
I`ve got little problem.
Today i found iron mine in the mountain, so i build there mine.
This is my first mine so i was very excited, but to time when i wanted to mine something i suddenly saw that "this rock is much to hard to you"...
Actually i`ve got 71 str and quality of my pickaxe is 20.
How many streangth i ought to have to mine there ? Maybe better pickaxe ?
I hope u can help me in anyway ; ]

you currently have an effective mining ability of 37, which is determined by the square root of (str * tool q). increasing either will help.

Do u know how many mining ability i ought to have to mine in my mining hole ?

all i know is that you are within 40 points of what you need because over 40 says "you can't scratch that rock"

If it helps, I have 117 STR and a Q25 stone axe, and it lets me dig in "much too hard" places.

Does the q of your tool change the q of the ore or the final product now?
