Okay to palisade in griefers?

I know it's generally frowned upon to palisade people, but a pair of griefers have set their hearth fires in front of my claim, and seem to plan to use the hearth fires to rob me once they get trespassing. Can I wall them off to defend myself?

its not appropriate to fence someone in his own claim in. if they are griefers and havent even trespassing ...well... get a claim over their heartfire's area and fence them in (with some space around)

If they're near your place and you wall them in then all they have to do is set a simple hs and spawn thousands and thousands of alts to destroy your claim with hearthfires.
