How dp I kill Boars, Deers, and Foxes?

Well, I am trying to find out an effective way to kill them... You can't box them in with anything because they destroy it everytime. They tore apart a runestone in 10 seconds. Anyone with a helpful suggestion?

Shoot from a boat, and punch them when they start running.

Try using the stone boulders what you get from cellars,i heard they block animals.

There is still a way to block em in. While firing from the boat, use an alt to build a box around em. When they try to run, they get stuck, and you can easily continue to shoot em.

or find a friend to box em in for you: while those animals destroy signs while attacking, they dont while fleeing (just as well, i wouldnt want to see a fleeing bear run through my landhold). They dont attack more than one person at a time by themself, being quite fixated

running after em to punch em is tiring and time consuming, even potentially dangerous. it works well though

Something I've wondered for a while is, how is it even possible to run after and punch anything other than a boar? They all run faster than any speed other than sprint, and good luck sprinting long enough to catch one.

You have to either be on land where sprinting is allowed, or more likely, they hit a tree and bounce back toward you/you cut them off. Basically, run more efficiently at the same speed as them.
