Quick question and I dont want to have to wait a few hours to find out..

Ring of Brodgar wiki says the moonphase effects how and where to find specific fish as well as various other factors.
So, what moon phase are we in right now? Also other then waiting for night time, is there a way to look up the moonphase elsewhere?

I wouldn't rely on the wika too terribly in this case. It states that Plaice can be caught under a full moon, but in my general area this is simply not the case. At least not with anything I have used. It seems to vary on location just as much as it does on moon cycle. This is something you yourself will have to experiment with. Use every kind of lure or bait you have at your disposal. Just follow my cycle: daytime hunt, night time fish.

Yeah I generally have good luck getting place when there is as little moon as possible. It also seemed more abundant around midnight. This however varies for other experiences.

I don't know if it varies region to region, but near where I live there's a shallow lake fishing spot that, during the night on a new moon, I catch a plaice for every singly bloated leech i use. So I just stock up on plaice during the new moon.
