Change Screen Resolution?

Hello commiunity!

Is there any possibility to change the screen size? I want to use my netbook (Samsung NC10) it has a resolution of 1024x600 any idea how i can fit that problem?

so it works fine with the console command:

:fs 1 - Fullscreen on.

But it only works on me netbook not on my desktop PC. On my desktop PC i got a black screen.
