Mining, layers or not ?

Postby Cynry » Mon Jan 31, 2011 10:26 am

Hi guys,

I'm a bit confused with mining in caves.
So far I've only found nothing or q10 stones, I change spot every time.

On the forum I read that if ore is to be found it'll be on the first tick of mining. On the wiki I read that world 4 introduced a layer system to go through before getting to the core, where ore can be mined.

So.... what ? Should I just keep changing mining spot, or should I keep mining the same spot instead until the tile turns to floor ?

Thanks !

Mine until you either get a stone or a piece of ore.

I would have said prospect to at least get the direction to dig in, but prospecting is fucked.

Yeah, I've tried prospecting with my face smooshed up against the side of an ore vein and still gotten No Minerals Found
