How high does your farming have to be to get yeoman so i can claim land?

You just have to buy the skill, no need to put any point in it.

there's Farming at Skill Values and there's Farming at the "skill" tab, the one on the skill tab needs Foraging, then Plant Lore, and then you can get Farming

Just keep in mind that you can save up those 4k lp and not be able to claim land if you don't have the proper ingredients to do so....
