Finishing Claims

If I build up a claim for one of my alts, can they finish building it and stake the claim if they don't have yeomanry?

In w3 this was possible. It may be possible to do in w4 as well but I haven't tested it, so give it a try.

I definitely will. I'm getting a little impatient waiting for my new alt to have enough lp to get yeomanry so I can secure a nearby cave. NEED IT.

Always claim before you build anything.

SLOW AGAIN. I forgot you can't start a new claim when you have an old one. Ffffffffffffff

It's a little risky, and a little convoluted, but you could try:

1) Abandon main's claim
2) Start construction of alt claim with main character
3) Finsh alt claim with alt character
4) Return to main claim and re-establish original main claim w/ main character

I've never done this, but it seems like it should work.

the LP to get Yeomanry on a new alt is really not that much though, especially if you already have a functioning home claim. Just do simple little tasks that need to get done anyway (collecting branches and timber, etc.) until you have enough to get carpentry or farming, then grind farming and pali repairs for the rest of the LP.
