Trouble with a mine entrence.

Hello everyone,I dont usually post,anyway my friend has a mine...But when he tries to enter it,He gets a message along the lines of
"Something is bellow" And it wont let him enter,What do we need to do to get inside?

"The Space below is occupied" Is the message i think.
There's either a cave below, or somebody has mined out that area.

Simply enough, he needs to build a new minehole, probably not close to the current one.
