Don't do buckets, a lot of people will kill you if they catch you deforesting. Just do breadbaskets (you can do this without cutting trees) till you get foraging and 5-10 exploration, and then collect herbs for LP. It may seem like it's a low LP activity, but I actually get more LP from herbs than from animals on my average hunting trip.

Who cares about deforestation, find a place no one goes to and deforst a map worth of trees. LP starts rolling in like mad. There's plenty of trees to go around, and if those hippies really cared about tree's they'd replant them, all you have to worry about is LP. Then once you're done you'll have a nice smooth surface to strike the earth for oil.

Well I for one kill anyone I see grinding buckets. I care about forest because I like hunting, and killing bucketgrinders is much better LP than grinding buckets ;)

It's true, herbs are a great source of lp. On my chicken hunting trips( I'm looking for a flock for my coop) I get a crazy amount of lp for the herbs I get, 24 or so herbs.
