Archery?

How does basic archery work? I'm a bit confused.

I have 15 PER and 25 MM (I know, I'm a noob). Now, I can get the aiming meter to come up, but nothing happens.

What is it supposed to look like?

as the meter fills up your "accuracy" increases (chance to hit)
when its as full as you want click again to fire.

MM determines the speed at which accuracy meter fills up which is capped by quality of weapon
Perception determine minimal damage

Except my meter never fills up... it stays black.

Is there something I'm missing? I have a bow, a quiver with some arrows, all the necessary skills...

Is it because my MM and PER are so low?

You're using a bow, that's the problem.


Use a sling, bows are for MM 50+ atleast.

Just killed a fox with my bow. I know what I was doing wrong, now.

I wasn't being patient enough. Slow meter is slow.

A bow was actually easier for me to make than a sling, to be honest. So I took that route. I'll try out a sling now, though.
