I've built a small homestead not far from one of the map edges, on heath if that matters.
I'm not very familiar with the normal decay rates for things but a couple things have happened that seemed odd, and I'm wondering if anyone can enlighten me on them:
I build a palisade on a completely paved strip of land barely a week ago, and already some segments are decaying and needing repairs. I thought they lasted longer than that, but the bit I thought was most odd is that the decayed spots are scattered through the section I constructed most recently, while the older segment is still completely fine.
Also, I made a paved area to place all my drying racks, since I heard that placing them on pavement reduced their decay rates. However, I've had to repair the ones on the pavement twice already, while the original one I built on the heath itself is *still* showing no sign of decay at all.
Anyone know why?
