Taming question

Postby abaret » Sat Feb 05, 2011 9:48 am

I'm in the midst of taming an auroch. I've read the wiki through. I used call of thunder till I had about 14IP. The next step is to use side step. I keep clicking it onto the auroch but nothing is happening. It's not using IP or affecting the status. What am I doing wrong?

To use special moves, you need to be in melee range.

Essentially, the danger zone.

I am too scared to tame anything besides... the earth. GROW PLANTS GROW.

What does that mean? do I need to take down the signpost fence? I saw someone do this with the fence up so I know it's possible.

If you leave out the corner tiles you can get in melee with the aurochs while still keeping it penned.

Don't aurochs break signposts? If not, what does, and doesn't?
