How to find Player

Me and my brother just started and we want to play together however we have no idea where are we or how to find each other... anyway to do it?

One of you sets a hearth secret in the kin window, the other starts a new character, tells the Sherlock Holmes dude in the character creation room that secret, a stairway appears, and right clicking it spawns the new character at the hearth of the guy that set the secret. Do note that the hearth must be outdoors for this to work.
