Claim infront of Caves

Is there any way to get inside when they place claims right infront of the caves or is it not possible and the way the developers want it to be.

to "use" any item on claimed land, such as a door or cave entrance, you need trespassing. it also allows you to look inside chests and such, but you need theft to take anything out

if you use trespassing, you'll leave scents which can be used to track you down, or your hearth fire, by anyone with ranging and sufficient expl x perc to beat your stealth x int

Trespassing isn't summonable, though. Theft is, so watch what you're doing. Mind you, even if they can't summon you, they can still find your place and ruin it, or camp till you log in.

I think hes talking about someone putting a claim right infront of the cave enterance so that u cant enter it but someone can exit it

A personal claim's collision size is not the entire tile so you can still enter the cave. Not sure about full size structures like palisade though.

you're right about the collision size, but you cannot enter the cave. I just tried it out. also, maz shh.
