Begging for mercy and offering to strip (I had nothing of value since I was just a farmer xD) didn't work. I'm thinking i'll take a break from the game since i'm pretty frustrated, but before I do where/how can I submit my maps? I have Gilbertus' client and i've been keeping them compiled, so I may as well contribute before I go.

I wasn't anywhere near home, sadly. 4-5 map screens away every time. And my sign and my baskets of free goods helped a lot of players. A lot of them came up and said thank you, and a lot of them left stones. So yes, someone needs to not be a jerk. Community gameplay requires somebody to put themselves out there, but I still built a pallisade, didn't I? And since the game start it had been a peaceful neighborhood. As an old school UO player, I understand that random griefers are part of the mmo scene. If they don't have open PvP, they find a way to do it anyway. Better the honest jackery of a murderer then hacking and general wankerness. You can pick yourself up and dust yourself off from a lot of things, but finding yourself a newb character again isn't particularly a wonderful experiance. This isn't a rage quit, its a break and a notice to the people in the neighborhood. Looking above, at least now they know who the random jerk is that was wiping out everyone in the area.
Noteworthy: I did exactly the same thing last game and I didn't even have a fence, and I was never killed by anyway, but I sure earned a lot of thank you notes. YMMV with this kind of game.
And to said jerkWhen you are a FARMER and you have nothing of value its hard to buy your way out of murder. You stole my q 57 bone saw, it was my most valuable possession, congradulations, I really didn't have much to offer. I wasn't even wearing a backpack the third time.
