How do I find mz friend?

How do I find my friend in H&H? We both started at random locations and we want to connect..how do we do it? We dont even know where are we at. :) Im so confused, please help anyone.

if ye have just started , One of ye set a hearth secret and tell the other to enter that in when making a new character.

ok I typed a secret, pressed 'set' but it does nothing..what could it mean???

you give your friend the secret have them make new char at char creation go to person far north west

they enter your secret
stairs will appear they go down it they will spawn at your hearth fire.

"You are alone in the world" just means you haven't set anyone as kin yet.

Is there any way to visit another person's hearth fire with a character I've already made?It took me some time to get all the LP I have now and I don't want to loose it.

Form a party with him and click on his portrait... Then continue going in that direction until you find him, but this could take time. It's probably best to check world maps and see how far are you.
