Awful noobie question here, playing myself and surfing the wiki has yielded no help. I played this game because I found the idea of user-generated communities to be exciting. Among my many frustrations so far (can't find anything to hunt, etc etc), I'm not sure how I am supposed to find a town, if there are any, or any communities that have formed. Advise for a noob? I'm a bit directionless without the goal of finding a community, I don't want to just build a house out in the middle of nowhere, seems pointless.

Lots of liasing is done on the forums, check out the link below, it leads to Dawrves and Thieves where people recruit for thier own villages.
