Does mines have unlimited resources? Can any mine be depleted?

I world three mines had 500.000 ores in them AFAIK,

I dunno about world 4, tho.

So how much ore from mine can be mined in W4? its like 500'000 (like SacreDoom said) in W3 or more/less?

There are no mines anymore, just underground layers. Those carry veins of ore. Some bigger, some not so big. You might get a couple of hundred or a couple of thousand ores out of a vein, depends on the size. The thing is that you can mine your way through the whole underground layer to find new veins and even if that one is depleted, you can always dig deeper to the next layer.
