How do i get ore

i have a mine hole that has no ore in it, i was given little ore to make a mine support but cant seem to find any, i need help ASAP

u had to prospect first and then build minehole.

Did you prospect a proper location or did you just build a mine hole anywhere?

You can build a minehole anywhere, but there is not ore everywhere.

You have to use the Prospecting skill with rustroot extract to find a suitable place to build your minehole.

i did prospect and built right on top of the ore

What ore did you prospect?

How much of the area have you actually mined out?

Are you sure you built the mine hole in the right spot?

Perhaps you built the mine hole a little too far over from the node and then built the support in the wrong spot as well and you're not even mining in the node???

thats what i thought at first but i dont really no where or how i am going to get another support without ore, my brother gave me a little ore that he found now i cant get anymore. i been looking around caves. an my brother made the mine properly but im sure he built the support in a wrong way
