Teleport to hearth fire while lifting boat?

Can I teleport to my hearth fire while holding my boat and end up back home with my boat and all it's contents safe?

Another helpful tip to know is that you can actually pick up a boat while in a boat. Although you can't really port back with two boats... when you go traveling nearby to pick up supplies like chantrelles n' etc. it can come in handy when you're still new and don't have big containers to store things in, yet.

on top of that, you can pick up other things such as logs too, so no worries if they fall in the water
Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.
