Mudflats, Clay, and noobness.

Postby daemmon » Mon Feb 14, 2011 12:12 am

So basically after a few trades and stuff I got my hands in copper, tin and iron.
Everything went fine, until I found that the q20 Iron ores I was getting were actually giving lower Q bars because of my crappy klin/smelter combo.

So now I'm in the search of clay. I read a lot over here about nodes and stuff. Basically I have 5 mudflats close to my place. But I only found a q15 node in one of them. The rest I tried A LOT almost EVERYWHERE but with no luck. Basically my question is, EVERY mudflat has a node? or there are mudflats with NO nodes at all?

Thanks!

Every mudflat has a node, most of the time it's a Q10 node that dries up after 1 use, that's all.

I wouldn't really call everything everywhere a "node". Basically normal terrain has only one q10 clay that can be dug. Once you find a node you'll be able to dig more pieces of clay continuously.

Oh, that's also considered a "node"?

Thanks for the quick answer!

Say I have a q11 node by my home. Will that ever improve, as nodes tend to recharge, or will it cap out at one point or another?

No one can really know, although if you have it claimed and leave it alone for a day or two and check it again and it's still 11 then that is most likely the cap.
