How do I set up a safe trade?

Recently all of my friends were killed due to multiple raids, unprovoked. Now I'm kinda paranoid about dying and was wondering how to set up a safe trade, or how I should trade in general. I get the points system, that's about it.

Also, how much are blueberries worth 15-25Q? I'd ask my bros, but you know.

In general, most trades people request on the forums are safe. Trade is a pretty sacred thing and there is a very slim portion of the population that would attack someone during a trade. If they do, they usually meet a swift death.

Trading at this point in the world happen through either walking to each other, or if you BOTH have a village claim, joining there village to port there, then rejoining yours to port back.

Trading alts are probablly the safest possible way if your paranoid.

Thanks for the replies. On to a simpler part of the subject, how does it work? You show up with the stuff, drop on the ground and pick up?

Basically, except you put it in containers, not drop on ground in most cases
