Bear cape, Bear amulet.

So a friend of mine happened to take out a level ten bear today, and we've got all of its useable parts. We're both interested in the Bear amulet and he wants a bear cloak, the problem is that we're afraid to make either of them due to the cloak being softcapped by sewing and the amulet being softcapped by psyche. I'd rather us keep from losing some amazing QL items due to us lacking little things like this so I want to be completely sure on their stats.

Anyone have any thoughts?

You're probably right... But how common are 110 QL teeth bears?

The quality of the bear skin is based on your survival, skinning tool, and the bear level. Most if not all bears are level 10. As you find more, you'll get higher and higher quality bear skins as your skills improve. The answer is that you'll probably get a bear kill or two a day if you actively go hunting.

all bears are q X (10). animal level is set now
Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

Hm... Alright alright. You've all convinced me...

But what are the garnering factors? It says Psyche, but on the Attributes page it says it affects Bear Cloaks...

For Bear Capes it's sqrt(Sewing*Dexterity)=X, sqrt(X*Skin Quality)
For Tooth Necklaces it's sqrt(Psy*Tooth Quality), I don't remember the string mattering.

This was the case at first but as of two weeks ago animal levels have been varying again. Boar, Deer, and Foxes have been varying in level from the set lv10 Deer, lv7 Boar, lv5 Fox. It hasn't been uncommon for me to run into lv7, 8, and 9 Deer or to see lv10 Boars. I'll snag a screenshot when I next go on a hunting trip to prove it.

I was investigating a bit and it seems, that now the Animals have max. level: Bear 10, Deer 9, Boar 7, fox 3 and the former relationship to the number of people in the area lowering the lvl is still valid.

Especially deers are varying a lot.

Hmm, this can't be the case, I was punching lv10 Deer to death before I called it a night. Thanks for confirming I'm not just a crackpot though. I shall perform Science! before making any more contradictory claims.
