Basic Question

I have read through the starting out docs and all, searched through the forums, checked the wiki, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use a stone ax to chop down trees. When I check my skills I don't have lumberjack but I don't see it as an option to learn? HelP?

EDIT: Doh! Nevermind... I learned a couple other skills and lumberjacking popped up. Sorry.

You have to earn enough learning points (LP) to be able to purchase the skill before that action will become available to you. If a skill has prerequisite skills that you haven't learned yet, then you won't see that skill at all in your not-yet-learned skill list.

Harvesting branches, building fires and lighting them is a simple and non-destructive way to earn LP in the very beginning.

get lp, learning points
go to skills screen
its the face in your "menu rainbow" or ctrl T and then check the bottom tabs untill you get to skills

No question is stupid, and considering it doesn't say that you can scroll down the "Available skills" it's easy to not understand.
