Animals Selective About Mates?

Postby TheLastRonin » Thu Feb 17, 2011 2:09 am

I have two of my highest quality sheep penned. One has no blood relation to the ram while the other has a direct blood connection (daughter) to the ram. The ram will happily impregnate the first sheep but doesn't seem to touch the second. Does the game keep track of animal linage? I really want to pump out some high Q sheep here and this is slowing me up. What do I do?

Nope, incest is fine with animals. Sometimes they're rearing to go and sometimes they're not. It's possible that the animal is already pregnant, which would prevent the male from having sex with her.
