Layer 10 Grinding

As some of you may know or the rumours have been that you can go upto layer 10.

Now my idea is to just put a minehole next to the minehole that we have now and do the same with the other minehole even if it yields no metal. For the soul purpose to reach layer 10 and start digging trought the wall in random directions until gold or silver or atleast a HQ metal node is reached.

Would this be a good idea or just a pure waiste of hard leather?

I'd fund you with the wax required if just to achieve those depths.

we are currently on layer 3 and have enough wax for level 5 :P

Hmm I geus I wil keep going deeper until I can't mine the wall anymore.
