Can't claim land

Bought Yeomanry skill. Clicking stake claim skill and on the land and recieving message - "You cannot have more than one plot". I haven't any claims finished before.

Just press declaim plot if that's the case. Maybe the game thinks you do have one, or possibly you inherited one of your other toon's plots.

Declaim is a button under the Adventure menu as well.

You can declaim a plot from anywhere, you don't need to be near it.

Seems likely you inherited one from a previous ancestor.
